Our school is situated in the multi-coloured new housing neighbourhood Fascinatio in Capelle a/d IJssel, within walking distance of the campus of the Erasmus University and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. The school is easily accessible by public transport and there is plenty of free parking spots.

The school is visited by pupils of different nationalities and different backgrounds. We are proud that the pupil population is a good reflection of the Fascinatio neighbourhood.

On 2 September 2002 we started as a new school in the new neighbourhood Fascinatio. De Ontmoeting belongs to the schools of the Foundation Primary Education Capelle aan den IJssel - Krimpen aan den IJssel.
